Regardless of what volunteer needs are listed here, we’re always looking for more volunteers. We rely on hundreds of volunteers each year to help.

Volunteer Needs

Whether you have 30 minutes or want to start a new PTA project of your own, we want to hear from you. Email the volunteering committee at volunteer@clespta.org.

URGENT

  • Urgently need volunteers to organize the annual International Festival on April 11 with BMMS.

    Please email volunteer@clespta.org‍ ‍ASAP if interested!

  • Please help at our annual Science Fair on April 30 at 6:30-8:30pm.

    We need judges and general helpers to observe and give feedback for our student science fair projects.

  • We still need to fill many volunteer positions in order to hold a successful Spring Fair, including:

    • Ticket Sales - Organizes ticket and wristband sales, pre-sales, and cash handling

    • Volunteers Captain - Organizes and leads our army of day-of volunteers

    • Silent Auction on-site Lead - Organizes set up and coordinates day-of

    • We also need volunteers to co-lead food, prizes, entertainment and more!

  • Have a way with words and graphics? Interested in helping get the word out for all the PTA events? We need you!

    Tasks include putting together the semi-monthly newsletter, and coordinating with the school principal and PTA exec board to get the news of all our events out to the CLES community.

Open Positions

  • Organize community service events/activities for CLES students and families like Gobble, Gobble Give.

  • Represent CLES at the Howard County advisory group meetings. Attend monthly county meetings, discuss our students’ best interests with the PTA Executive Board.
